INTERNATIONAL HUMAN RIGHTS DAY-MESSAGE FROM THE CHAIRMAN
MESSAGE FROM THE CHAIRMAN,
ON INTERNATIONAL HUMAN RIGHTS DAY.
•••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
Today, as we observe International Human Rights Day, we reaffirm our unwavering commitment to the principles of justice, equality, and dignity for all. This year’s theme reminds us that human rights are not just ideals but practical standards that must guide our collective actions.
In Pakistan, the struggle for human rights continues as countless individuals face discrimination, violence, and injustice. It is our shared responsibility to amplify the voices of the vulnerable, protect the marginalized, and challenge the forces that undermine the freedoms of our people.
Let us not only reflect on the progress made but also recognize the challenges that lie ahead. Together, we must work toward a future where every person, regardless of their race, religion, gender, or social status, is empowered to live with dignity and freedom.
On this day, I call upon the government, civil society, and every citizen to renew their pledge to uphold and defend the rights of every individual. The journey may be arduous, but our resolve must remain unshaken.
Human rights are universal and timeless—they are the foundation of peace and prosperity for all nations. Let us stand united to make these rights a reality for everyone in Pakistan and beyond
Muhammad Yousaf Badar.
