Transparency and Institutional Accountability
A central pillar of Human Rights Protection Foundation Pakistan’s work is the promotion of transparency and accountability within public institutions.
The Foundation utilizes lawful mechanisms, including the Right to Information (RTI) framework, to seek information of public importance, identify institutional shortcomings and encourage responsible governance. Its work is aimed at strengthening public trust between citizens and institutions while promoting the rule of law and constitutional rights.
The Foundation also raises matters of public concern before relevant government departments and competent authorities where necessary, with the objective of seeking lawful remedies and protecting the public interest.
Human Dignity
Standing With the Vulnerable
Human Rights Protection Foundation Pakistan believes that the strength of a society can be measured by the way it treats its most vulnerable members.
Accordingly, the Foundation seeks to give a voice to people who may otherwise remain unheard, including victims of human-rights violations, women, children, prisoners, disadvantaged families, vulnerable communities, threatened journalists and people affected by natural or humanitarian crises.
Our approach is based on human dignity, compassion, lawful action and responsible advocacy.
