About this project

HRPF obtained district health data through a Right to Information request, analysed disease patterns in Sialkot and published recommendations for public-health action.

The challenge

Public-service planning required a clearer picture of disease patterns and priorities for water, sanitation and healthcare.

Our approach

HRPF reviewed data supplied by the District Health Authority and prepared an analysis calling attention to public-health needs.

What we aim to achieve

  • Inform public-health planning through analysis of district records.

What we do

  • Requested district health records.
  • Analysed January–April 2024 data.
  • Published recommendations for the responsible health authorities.

Results and lasting change

  • A public-health analysis and recommendations were published.
  • The research does not establish that recommended services were subsequently delivered.
